Terms and Conditions
Before confirming your booking at Wigwam Holidays Ribble Valley, please take the time to read the information below. It includes vital information regarding cancellation policies and the amenities and services available at the Site, which will assist you with planning your holiday.
If you are in breach of these terms and conditions; or if you or anyone in your group break the Site Rules, then we may reluctantly ask your group to leave. If we do this then we will not refund either your Deposit or your Final Payment and you and your group must leave immediately. If this happens we will have no liability to you for any costs which you incur as a result of the early termination of this contract. For example, we will not be liable to reimburse you for the cost of finding alternative accommodation and/or transportation costs. Nor will we be liable to compensate you for any disappointment or other similar emotions which you may feel.
Payment Policy:
To secure your booking a deposit or full payment is required at the time of booking; we do not accept provisional bookings so please do not make a booking unless you are in the position to honour it. Once a deposit has been paid the remaining balance will be automatically collected 5 days before or can be paid in advance via BACs or debit or credit card at least 6 days prior to arrival. Please contact us for further information.
Cancellation/No-Show Policy:
A full refund is available up until 5 days before arrival.
The above terms and conditions only apply to bookings that are made online at www.wigwamholidays.com. Bookings made directly with the site owner may be subject to individual and separately agreed terms.
Travel Insurance: (this is a holiday)
We strongly advise you to take out the appropriate levels of travel insurance so you can have peace of mind that your costs will be covered, should you need to cancel your holiday for any reason. We recommend that guests have an appropriate level of travel insurance in place for their needs.
Smoking:
Smoking is not permitted in the Wigwam Cabins or in any communal areas.
Dogs:
2 well behaved dogs are welcome in a Wigwam Cabins, but must be kept on a lead on the cabin site at all times, as we have sheep and lambs on the farm.
Please ask for areas to exercise your dogs as we have a dedicated field.
Owners are expected to clean up behind their dogs at all times and use bins provided, extra waste bags can be bought at reception.
No dangerous breeds allowed (Dangerous Dog Act 1991).
Group Bookings:
Group bookings can be taken from family and social groups with prior arrangement. No bookings will be taken from Hen and Stag Parties this is a family site with a 10pm site quiet time and is not suitable for parties.
Arrival/Departure Procedures:
Check-in is from 15.00 if arrival is after 19.00 please let the site know. Checkout is by no later than 10.00am on the day of departure. You must not sublet your accommodation or any part of it during your stay or transfer your booking to anyone else.
Whilst we do fully clean the Wigwam Cabins guests are expected to leave their Wigwam in a neat and tidy condition with all refuse deposited in the Refuse Collection Area. No food must be left in the fridge upon departure.
Complaints Procedure:
We take all comments from guests seriously and in the unlikely event that you wish to make a complaint you can contact us by telephone or email and we will respond. We will try to resolve any issues as soon as possible.
Breakage/Damage:
We reserve the right to charge the Debit/Credit Card used at the time of booking an additional fee should the Wigwam Cabins be left in an unsatisfactory condition or if there is any damage to the Wigwam Cabin furnishing therein. It is requested that guests advise Reception in the event of breakage or damage.
Hot Tubs:
We do not provide any supervision of the hot tubs. You use the hot tub at your own risk and you are responsible for the safety of you and your group when using the hot tub.
Hot tubs must be used in line with the guidance given. The hot tubs are for the use of the Wigwam occupants only. The maximum occupancy of the hot tub (generally no more than 5) must not be exceeded.
Absolutely no glass to be taken into the hot tubs. Plastic glasses only.
The tubs must be vacated by 10.30pm to avoid noise nuisance and for the safety of guests.
A charge may be applied for any damage or excessive cleaning.
No children under 5 are to use the hot tubs and children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Code of Conduct:
We expect all our Visitors to respect and look after the Site (i.e. do not drive on the grass, do not let your dog on the children's play field) and the Wigwam Cabin you are staying in.
Parents are responsible for their children and dogs as such children and dogs must be supervised at all times.
The field and footballs supplied are for the use of children and not as chew toys for your dogs, if your dog is on the field chewing site footballs then you may be asked to reimburse the cost of the football, as with any other property damage.
Noise pollution is taken very seriously. We expect guests to respect our neighbours and other guest and keep noise to a minimum, adhering to the site noise policy agreed with local planning council and keeping noise outside the Wigwam Cabins from 10.00pm - 7am to a minimum.
Visitors of guests must be authorised prior to arrival at site and must always call in at reception for security reasons so that we know who is on site.
Visitors of guests must not be onsite at all between the hours of 10pm and 9am.
None other than named guest can occupy the Wigwam Cabins overnight unless authorised and paid in advance.
The play park must not be used before 9am or after 9pm or dusk in the Winter months. You are responsible for children in your group at all times, including when they are in the play park.
We do not provide any supervision in the play park and by allowing your children to use the play park, you are agreeing that you will continue to supervise them and to take responsibility for their behaviour whilst in the play park.
Guests must comply with the parking regulations cabins 1-8 are only allowed to unload/load their vehicles at the site at all other times guest must park their vehicles on the allocated car park as instructed as this forms part of our planning agreement and site licence and show consideration when entering and leaving the site, there is a barrier on entering the site that works on a key fob entry.
All guests will be given emergency contact details of the site management team and appropriate guidance on when to use them.
Failure to comply with any off the above or anything else deemed by the owners as unsuitable for the site may result in guest being asked to leave site.
Additional Needs
Whilst guests with additional needs and requirements are welcome, we request that you contact us in advance before you book on 07721692466 to ensure that we have suitable accommodation for you. Some accommodation and locations may not be suitable for holidaymakers with wheelchairs or mobility difficulties. If you don’t tell us we can’t be held responsible. We will try to accommodate any additional needs or requirements but can’t guarantee to always be able to.
Cancellation by us:
Very occasionally, we may have to cancel your booking. If we have to do so we will tell you as soon as possible and you can choose either to have a full refund, or accept any alternative arrangements offered to you, or book another holiday with us at the current price. We will have no further liability to you for this.
If you choose to leave before your scheduled date and time for departure for any reason no refund will be given. This includes if you leave because the weather is bad
